Hi SFYS. I am a junior at New World School of the Arts, and am their principal harpist. My first experience with SFYS launched me into today's multi faceted experience with my harp. Not only I have a full schedule at school but today I am asked by many orchestras to play with as i keep honing my musical reading skills. Margi good luck with all the kids and eventually i look forward to making a small come back with some concerto for harp and orchestra.

i was a memeber from 1986-1989 and went on the first trip to Carnegie Hall. I still have the playbill. the SFYS prepared me for a performance degree from Valdosta State University.

I played trumpet in the Symphony under Carmen Nappo from 1966 - 1967 . What a trip . We did a lot of Leonard Bernstein . I later became a poet and hung out with Beat writers Ginsberg , Kesey , and Corso. Go figure .
